Mark Aldridge asks:

"What can we expect from your second album? Have you concentrated more on the upbeat songs, or have you been doing more ballads?"

Daniel: "We had a very successful tour in 1998, and we found that the up tempo songs worked best for us in a live situation, so the new album has at least half of the songs upbeat and full of energy."

The_Gr8_Dame asks:

"Have you ever thought about writing a children's lullaby album? My sons, ages 3 and 21 months, get droopy-eyed every time I play IKILY or TMD."

Daniel: As you've noticed from your child's reaction, we don't have to write specifically for the children's market. Our music seems to reach a wide demography."

Elaine Richards asks:

"When you write a song do you write the lyrics then add the music, or vice-versa?"

Daniel: "This has worked for us both ways ... the majority of the time Darren will (write) a lyric to an instrumental that I have created"

Mark Australian asks:

"What do you think about 'manufacturing' a group in an attempt to pick up the Australian music scene?"

Daniel: "We are not particularly into manufactured groups full stop. Darren and I were just lucky enough to cross each others paths and so far have a successful musical career."

TMD asks:

"What do you do when you have a "writer's block"?"

Daniel: "Try and detach myself from anything that may involve music... and subtly an idea may come from something as simple as a sitcom theme"

"From CJ: Where did you film the video for "I knew I loved you"? What do you think is the best song you've written?"

Daniel: "The I Knew I Loved You video was shot in Los Angeles in a studio to simulate a New York city subway... I have different favorites at various times. Currently it is a song called THE LOVER AFTER ME."

"Oh... look who has just walked in. It's... DARREN!!!!"

Darren: "yo yo yo sup..hehehe"

"Another ARIA - are you running out of space on the mantle piece?"

Darren: "Daniel doesn't let me have any... he's got em all... maybe I'll get this one"

Darren: "Now now let's not let Leonie's head get as big as mine haha. She is my best friend actually and sooo funny."

Darren: "I've got to watch my voice. Sometimes I'm scared that will dry up but I'm not worried about fame ending... as I don't always want to be a 'celeb'"

Darren: "I would not feel complete unless I become a father... I love kids...the names? Well last time I told someone that they named their dog after it"

"Who were the artists to inspire you when you first started out?"

Daniel: "Various artists such as Seal, INXS, Alanis Morrissette, Peter Gabriel, Pet Shop Boys, Tears For Fears etc etc"

"How do you see the future of music with internet and MP3? Positive for artists like you or the opposite?"

Daniel: "I think there is a lot of panic at the moment within record companies with regards to copyright issues and the internet ... ultimately I think it will have to go around in circles before it will benefit us."

Daniel: "We've never really taken into consideration this title, although ... I do have to agree with you, I AM very sexy! lol"

"I know this is a bit of a stupid question but I always wonder about it: what if you REALLY need the bathroom in the middle of playing a concert? I can tell people are gonna yell at me for asking that..."

Daniel: "I have my guitar tech who constantly has an empty water bottle handy at the side of the stage for these very moments ... I've yet to pee in the bottle!"

"Guys, are you just pre-recording the single tonight or any other tracks up your sleeves?"

Daniel: "We are just doing a live performance of the new single I KNEW I LOVED YOU.. .. ... which incidentally ... is available on our brand new album AFFIRMATION, released worldwide on 9th November. (Just thought I'd give it a little plug there)"

"In the music industry is there a rule for people not to come to South Africa, no one ever comes! We have the odd person but no one great like you guys!!"

Daniel: "We had recently spoken to INXS who visited South Africa and said it was fantastic and we should go..."

"What song from "Affirmation" do you think is most "different"?"

Daniel: "GUNNING DOWN ROMANCE. a very bittersweet song... it is extremely intense and a lot more moody than anything else we have ever done"

"Guys, do you know when IKILY will be released here - its been put back at least 3 times and we can't seem to find out."

Daniel: "It is released on the 18th October in the UK"

"You always put all your emotions and feelings in your songs, but are there other ways for both of you to let of some steam if you're down?"

Daniel: "Yes, I guess we have many ways of dealing with emotions... like everybody... becoming reliant on good friends is one way...."

Daniel: "Unfortunately I have to go now. Sony are monitoring this computer and just sent in fraulein jane to take me out in a headlock. Bye guys!"

Do people in public ever call you by your T.V. name other than youre real name?

Hilary: Yes, its kind of weird. It happens with younger kids. They go, Its Lizzie! Its Lizzie! Its great, though. It means that they love the show.

Would you have any interest in being the Alias-type female action hero?

Its funny actually. Because Im getting ready to do a film in about a year, which is like a girls version of Charlies Angels. But with girls [our] age.

Did Spy Kids open the door for these type of movies, with Agent Cody Banks in particular?

I think Spy Kids was amazing, because it totally opened the doors for kids movies that are kick-butt movies and not so much cartoons, or something.

Its been said that theres a Lizzie McGuire movie coming out, right?

Yes, May 2nd. There are still episodes of the show that have been [unaired]. The last one shows the girls graduating from middle-school and going to high school. It doesnt exactly show them graduating, though. But were leaving. But the movie picks up where the television show ends. In the movie, the graduating class gets to go on a class trip for Rome. Lizzie McGuire gets mistaken for an Italian rock star.

How many total episodes have there been and why did the show end?

There were 65 total episodes. But let me say this I think Disney Channel didnt give us enough credit for the age range that watched the show. They said that the audience [demographics] was 7-14 years old. Thats the main target audience. But I cant count the number of times that high school guys or college student girls would come up to me and say, My dorm doesnt have cable and we have to go to the dorm next door. After we get done from parties, we watch it because it comes on at 11. And adults, and this couple that was 35 years old that were newly married and didnt have kids, came to me and said, We just got married. We dont have kids but we watch Lizzie McGuire.

Can you relate to Agent Cody Banks sub-theme message about the difficulties of teenage dating?

Definitely. Its a little different for me, because, um, boys stink at this age. Theyre horrible! [Laughs] But, its like hard for me to date because Im so busy. Im always out of town. And I dont ever want to date anyone in the business ever again.

What happened?

Oh, no. Youre like [cowering from the journalist] what happened! I actually dated Aaron Carter [pop singer] for awhile. Aarons so cool. But its like when you say things to magazines, and it comes out two months later. And everyone thinks that when they read it, theyre like reading it as if it [happened] that day. And so many girls hated me because I dated him. It was horrible. Theyre like, I hate her. Shes ugly. Her show sucks! And they dont even know me! Its horrible.

Are you too busy to have a boyfriend right now?

I think so. And its hard for me to meet regular guys because most of my friends in California are actors. And I dont go to regular school, so its hard.

Are there guys out there you have a crush on?

Josh Hartnett. [Whooping Laughter] But theres nobody my age! Whats up? Like seriously, but Josh Hartnett is really cute.

a1_live_christian: Miracle is the B-side to our first single
a1_live_christian: on every single we add an extra song
a1_live_christian: a1_live_christian: a little treat for our fans
a1_live_christian: a1_live_christian: it will be performed on our tour
a1_live_paul: We wanted something really simple
a1_live_paul: something that everyone everywhere
a1_live_paul: could understand
a1_live_paul: and it's a school grade that everyone knows
a1_live_paul: and we try hard all the time

are??
a1_live_ben: the best thing about being in A1is being able to
write and perform your own music
a1_live_ben: its what we've wanted to do from an early age
a1_live_ben: none of us really thought about being in a boy band
when we started
a1_live_ben: until we met the other 3 - and there was something
different in the band
a1_live_ben: we all had a lot of experience in different fields
a1_live_ben: fame schools, working on cruises
a1_live_ben: I was a chorister and recorded classical albums
a1_live_ben: and Paul was a dancer!!

a1_live_christian: from our new album, we wrote every song to be
a great song

Anthony Edward Stevens Adams to Ben Stevens Adams?
a1_live_ben: well - sort of true!
a1_live_ben: my name was Benjamin Antony Edward Stevens
a1_live_ben: mut I changed it when my mum remarried to be the
same as the rest of my family

a1_live_paul: I think we'd like to say all of
a1_live_paul: us but Ben does, he's a handsome chap
a1_live_paul: and talented too

a1_live_christian: we were introduced to each other through our
management
a1_live_christian: they wanted the ultimate boy-band
a1_live_christian: one that could sing, compose, dance
a1_live_christian: they looked all around and we finally got
introduced to each other

a1_live_paul: As you can imagine we don't get to watch much
telly
a1_live_paul: Christian used to be a ref in Norway
a1_live_paul: but we don't get a chance to follow it much now

a1_live_ben: I think we would all like to duet with a different

a1_live_ben: but as a band, probably Destiny's Child

a1_live_ben: but as we work so hard we don't have much time to

clothes
a1_live_ben: and we pick from them

momet in your career so far?
a1_live_christian: Errrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr.
a1_live_christian: i think the most obvious is the Number one
with take on me
a1_live_christian: for me it is the moment when i can see that
our fans
a1_live_christian: have been moved by our music
a1_live_christian: in singapore, the fans started singing our
song everytime
a1_live_christian: it was great

crowd do any of you get nervous before performing?
a1_live_paul: I think during the first year yeah,
a1_live_paul: but now not really - we're on tour so much
a1_live_paul: we know the audience is with us

a1_live_ben: we've been there several times this year
a1_live_ben: and really enjoyed it
a1_live_ben: we've had a lot of success there, so are speaking
